Our visit to Pewsey was a last minute 6 night reservation to help out family in the village. Sadie is a very welcoming host. I have mobility problems so appreciated our ground floor room with en-suite including walk in shower. Everything seemed brand new so a few insignificant minor points were missing. All we had to do was ask Sadie. She even introduced us to a “Handyman with a van” who agreed to help out our son with garden and other clearance for an acceptable price.
There is a communal lounge with TV and also a kitchen for guests to use. Breakfast on offer is excellent. Cooked and wide selection of cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurt.
It was good to experience village life briefly as carnival weekend happened while we were there which included a scarecrow competition. So lovely to see families going round, making notes and taking photographs.
There is no private parking, but there are sections of on street parking on the High Street alternating with sections of double yellow lines. We were able to park there every evening. Also parking areas within walking distance. Height of season, school holidays, but no problem.

This is an old school pub and inn, located in an older set of buildings. My room was called “Stable” so I assume that building was a renovated stable from years ago. The location was great, the pub and the inn had a local charm. The staff was friendly, the food in the pub was very good, the atmosphere of the pub and the garden patio was lovely, fun, and very typical of a popular local pub. The room was comfortable, attractive, and though everything was quite old, served me really well. I enjoyed a really fun afternoon and evening here and rested well. I would return.
For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
Really cosy and private cabin close to the crop circle museum and Avebury attractions. Great location, and the host is really friendly, relaxed, and helpful. Value for money is great. Has all the facilities you could need. Bathroom and kitchen in working order with smart TV and a spacious living area for a cabin. Although it's in the hosts private garden, it is a distance from the house and feels very private.
This is a lovely property with peace and quiet and ‘artworks’ at a premium. Charming hosts who go the extra mile and great V for M. Remember the stairs to the bed above may be difficult for those in advancing years. A really terrific stay
Such a lovely welcoming inn, brilliant food, roaring log fires, friendly locals and charming Graham running a perfect old English country inn. Great location for Avebury, peaceful setting. The staff were smiley and chatty and the service excellent.
Lovely little property in a quaint village. Very comfy and clean. Sade is a great host and made our stay pleasant. Great breakfast and outstanding value for money.
Lovely room with comfortable bed. Close to street but was very quiet at night and slept very well. Excellent breakfast and lovely host. Exceptional value for money. Would certainly return.
Perfect place for my mum and I to have a few days relaxing and exploring the area. Both bedrooms were very comfy and we had everything we needed. It was lovely and quiet, and Peter was a great host - gave us lots of information about how to enjoy the area. My mum wants to go back next year!
