Circles Guest House, hotel in Pewsey

Circles Guest House is situated in Pewsey, 29 km from Stonehenge, 31 km from Old Sarum, and 32 km from Lydiard Park.

The host was very helpful, kind and flexible. The property was historic and beautiful, well-appointed and centrally situated. It was all on one floor, so easily accessible for my elderly mother, with an impeccable and generously-stocked kitchen. The room was well-heated and surprisingly quiet, given it looks out on the small main road of Pewsey, a really pretty little place on the River Avon, with its beautiful canal and stunning countryside. The double bed was small for a non-couple but very comfortable, even the pillows :) The decor was fittingly cottage-y but the bathroom was modern, and super clean with walk-in shower and heated towel rail.

The Barleycorn, hotel in Marlborough

A very warm welcome and attentive service from all the staff. Good beer and lovely pub-grub. Staying at the Barleycorn reminded me of how pubs used to be - full of locals enjoying lively conversation, dogs lying by the log fire and a happy atmosphere.

Really cosy and private cabin close to the crop circle museum and Avebury attractions. Great location, and the host is really friendly, relaxed, and helpful. Value for money is great. Has all the facilities you could need. Bathroom and kitchen in working order with smart TV and a spacious living area for a cabin. Although it's in the hosts private garden, it is a distance from the house and feels very private.

This is a lovely property with peace and quiet and ‘artworks’ at a premium. Charming hosts who go the extra mile and great V for M. Remember the stairs to the bed above may be difficult for those in advancing years. A really terrific stay

Perfect place for my mum and I to have a few days relaxing and exploring the area. Both bedrooms were very comfy and we had everything we needed. It was lovely and quiet, and Peter was a great host - gave us lots of information about how to enjoy the area. My mum wants to go back next year!
