A definite cut above most other pubs with rooms. When in the room in a separate annex, it felt like you were in a hotel and then there was a nice buzz in the pub for eating. All staff were very welcoming and very dog friendly. The food was excellent.

Everything! Sue is very kind and hospitable! The room and adjoining dressing room and bath were nicely furnished/equipped, including an electric kettle with various hot drink options. Breakfast was exceptional! Lots of choices! Yum! The property is picturesque, and the chirping birds really add to the natural ambiance. Just lovely!

The bed was wonderful. The bathroom and shower better than we had in some 4 star hotels we stayed at in this trip. There was a separate sitting room and bedroom, so rally more than you would expect from a B&B. The host thought of everything - every little detail was flawless. We can’t recommend it enough.
Exelby Green Dragon in Leeming Bar provides adults-only accommodations with a garden, a terrace, and a bar. Both free Wifi and parking on-site are accessible at the bed and breakfast free of charge.

The room: Lovely decor and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The room was compact, but not too small. We were fully aware of the size when booking and it was perfect for us.
The pub: Friendly, relaxed atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included, full English - excellent!

For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
Spotlessly clean and very comfortable b&b with lovely country views from the bedroom window. Big private bathroom and excellent breakfast in the conservatory looking out over the pretty garden. Jennifer was a lovely host and we would definitely return and recommend. We really enjoyed our stay. Excellent value for money.
The hosts were very welcoming. There are so many extras included fresh fruit and chocolates in the room. Coffee and cakes on arrival. Umbrellas, hot water bottle, bath robes. Beautiful gardens. Free car park. Great breakfast. Lovely old house with lots of history. Great location. Very quiet.
Excellent breakfast in lovely relaxed setting staff very helpful and friendly: Rooms are comfortable very clean. Big bed very comfy good nights sleep nice and quiet. Stayed for one night very enjoyable. Had a meal in the restaurant excellent food.
Great location just a short walk from the town centre. Lovely warm welcome from Christine and Charles. Tea and cake in the lounge on arrival, and fresh fruit and chocolates in the room were lovely touches. Great breakfast, with plenty of choice. Really can’t fault Porch House, will be back
Breakfast was left in the property for me to help myself and there was a good variety of food to choose from, including bread, fresh fruit and yoghurt. There were treats too! Having access to the microwave was very useful.
The space was bigger than I had anticipated, quiet, very private and within easy reach of the town and the station on foot. Being able to look out over the fields was a bonus. It was a great space in which to relax.
Great hosts very welcoming and hospitable. Tea and cake on arrival and fresh fruit and delicious chocolates in our room. We were in the twin room overlooking the beautiful walled garden at the rear of the property so it was nice and quiet and the room was very comfortable. Great breakfast with plenty of choice, the Yorkshire breakfast was excellent.
Porch House is ideally located on the High Street just a 15 minute walk to the railway station.
We are looking forward to a second visit.
Excellent breakfasts, very welcoming hosts in a stunning property with ample parking and an abundance of peace and quiet. Home made biscuits and fresh fruit basket daily a greatly unexpected and appreciated gesture.
