I absolutely loved how quaint the entire property was. Our room was enormous and fully equipped with more than we could use. Breakfast was lovely and Nik was happy to make us scrambled eggs on request and kept offering us more and more. Honestly had a wonderful time. Loved meeting the doggies too. Our room and bathroom were lovely and clean and fresh towels provided.

Fresh bread, still warm from oven, waiting for us. Home made preserves. Owners went above and beyond for stocking supplies for breakfast. The kitchen was the best we have ever seen for a property, and is fully stocked. The farm is a short drive or walk to NT Clumber Park.

The room was nice and warm all night. Great breakfast. Staff friendly and charming. Bed was really comfy and our room was quiet which was great. Hotel located in a good area/neighbourhood. I would stay again and would definitely recommend.
Excellent breakfast (huge selection and lovely dining room) and a very attentive host with good communication. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom facilities were clean and well maintained. WiFi stable and sufficient to allow me to work late. The quiet location meant I got a good night's rest. I also really appreciated the provision of water for drinking.
A lot more spacious than we expected it to be, very comfortable, good area with great public transport nearby. Very private and quiet despite being next to a main and busy road.
This is a stunning boutique hotel that's had love, time, effort and what must be a lot of money spent making it just right for the customer, that can appreciate somthing a little different.
Just a short 5 minute walk (but very peaceful and quiet) from the town centre and not the 8 miles that booking.com states.
