The Room was a perfect place to stay while visiting Lyme Regis. The bus into town stops right across the street from the bar and the bus out of town is just down the road. It is a very short walk from all of the major attractions in the area (I covered most of it in a few hours after my arrival), the staff was very friendly during my stay, and the bar itself was the perfect place to end the night with some of the locals. The owner also lives in the same building, so I felt very secure during my stay. They were even willing to keep some of my bags for me after checkout while I explored the town a bit more before leaving town.

Lovely clean, comfortable room. Big enough for 2. Although room is above the pub it's still pretty quiet. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate in the room. Great location, just up the ill from the sea. Beautiful views as you walk down, the walk back is a bit of a killer though! Staff very friendly.
