Sebastians, hotel in Oswestry

Located in Oswestry and within 26 miles of Chester Racecourse, Sebastians features a terrace, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. This 4-star inn offers room service.

Everything was exceptional. Michell and Mark really look after everyone who stays with them. I mentioned that I was vegan - not only did they provide a brilliant vegan breakfast, but I was offered plant based milk in my room (not usually offered by hotels so I usually bring my own), and then upon my return from work, I was greeted by vegan shortbread in my room. If you are looking for a home away from home when you travel, this is the place for you and I will certainly be staying again.

The Hand at Llanarmon, hotel in Llanarmon Dyffryn-Ceiriog

Featuring a bar and massage services, The Hand at Llanarmon is located in Llanarmon Dyffryn-Ceiriog, 11 miles from Chirk Castle and 12 miles from Horseshoe Pass.

The Hand is a charming hotel in beautiful surroundings. We loved the pub area. A wood fire was burning and the room was so cozy. The dining room was beautiful too and our dinner was delicious. We walked to the nearby church where there are huge evergreens that have been there for years and are loved and visited by many.

Red Lion Coaching Inn, hotel in Ellesmere

In a magnificent 16th-century building, Red Lion Coaching Inn offers free parking, free Wi-Fi, cooked breakfasts and elegant rooms.

A good place to stay in Ellesmere. Good old trad pub. Staff were great, food was good, and the room was larger than I expected, and clean and tidy. The small en suite was a bit of a squeeze, but hey, how long do you spend in there? The parking out the back was good too.

Great location on Offas Dyke with fabulous views from our room. Friendly, family run B&B with a nice relaxed atmosphere. We ended up getting a takeaway from the village which they let us eat in the breakfast room. Breakfast itself was a self serve continental style buffet with plenty of choice and was perfect for us.
