Located in Llanymynech, within 14 km of Whittington Castle and 20 km of Chirk Castle, Dolphin Inn provides accommodation with a garden as well as free private parking for guests who drive.

This is a handy small village pub for exploring in Mid-Wales and Shropshire border. Although close enough to the main road through the village to be easy to find, it is far enough away too not to suffer from traffic noise. It has a siezeable free car park at the rear.

Offering a garden and garden view, Nant Gloyw Oswestry is located in Oswestry, 43 km from Chester Racecourse and 6.1 km from Whittington Castle.

I initially had to cancel my booking last minute due to transport. I had asked for a refund but had missed their message offering me a luft to and from the sattoon so i wouldnt have to cancel my booking. I did end up traveling to oswestry the following day, I contacted the hosts to see if they would let me stay the following day. They were so accommodating. Michael was very attentive when I arrived, the house was spacious, everything i needed and more in the spacious room. They even gave me a bigger room, at no extra cost as the other one had been booked. Just kind and thoughtful person. What a host should be. !

Great location on Offas Dyke with fabulous views from our room. Friendly, family run B&B with a nice relaxed atmosphere. We ended up getting a takeaway from the village which they let us eat in the breakfast room. Breakfast itself was a self serve continental style buffet with plenty of choice and was perfect for us.
