Excellent location to walk into Kendal, with many bars and restaurants. The Guest House is tucked away on a quiet street. The bed was huge and very comfy. The self check in process was super simple, and the communication from the Owner prior to arrival was excellent, with maps and suggestions of places for breakfast etc.

We arrived very late in the evening due to the heavy fog. The receptionist received us with warmth and a beer for my husband. I think we were the last guests to arrive that day. Peaceful and quiet. The bedroom was spacious for our family of four. Bath room large and clean. We loved the traditional barn styled English house. So much culture! We also loved the free English breakfast!

For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
The lodge is very well designed, private, spotlessly clean, everything you could possible want (and more) is provided, great location and a easy walk into Kendal. The hosts also provided some nice, thoughtful little touches like tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits, milk and even a little chocolate on arrival.
Great location just outside of the town centre, super friendly and helpful staff, lovely modern yet cosy decor, comfortable room and had a great sleep in a quiet scenic location.
Lovely accommodation on ground floor in courtyard. Centre of town so great location. Lovely helpfuland friendly staff . Lee helped us through the narrow archway to their private car park and gave us some helpful advice for our return next week . Great breakfast and menu .
Great location. Quiet village. Comfortable beds. Convenient appliances. Underfloor heating. Fluffy towels. Small home comfort touches. Wine and biscuits made us feel so welcome!
The owner, Yvonne, is super friendly and helpful.
Very clean and comfortable room (no7). Very peaceful area, quiet at night.
Great location with a pleasant walk along the river into town or straight up the high street.
Good base for exploring the area.
Excellently decorated room, excellent breakfast, friendly and attentive owners. Very clean. A great location. We also had an evening meal which was delicious and served efficiently and speedily. A really good find. Having previously stayed at a hotel for 4 nights and not been satisfied, I would like to take the owners of this pub to the hotel so that they can show that hotel how to do it properly 'from start to finish.'
