Perfect stay, lovely room with incredibly comfortable beds! Lots of nice personal touches and really lovely facilities, located in a gorgeous village location. Incredibly peaceful and quiet. The family who run the hotel are so welcoming and friendly. They were really good at keeping in touch before and during our stay and answering our questions.
The breakfast was ample, we had cereal, yogurt and fruit and a pot of coffee. We didn't choose the cooked breakfast as we were eating later.
It was only about 15 minutes walk out of town.it was easy to catch busses and ferries. Absolutely perfect for what we wanted.
We had the seperate annex room at the front. It was quiet and private. Great stay. Thank you

For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Very cosy, clean and so homely. The garden is beautiful and private and Richard couldn't have been more helpful. Great position to walk to the station (15 mins) for excellent hourly trains into Plymouth and beyond. Fantastic walks all round, 20 mins in car to local quiet beach and at least 3 or 4 good food pubs. Great base for exploring Devon and Cornwall so close to the A38 and trains.
A lovely quaint village country pub set in the beautiful quiet Devon countryside. Room was clean, comfortable and spacious, Breakfast was amazing, Ben was exeptional, friendly, helpful, very knowledgeable, nothing was ever too much trouble, always willing to help, making our stay thoroughly enjoyable and memorable!

Great location for exploring the south coast of Devon. History here of the GIs based here from America training for the D Day landings & the inspiration for the film Saving Private Ryan. Breakfast & dinner excellent. Staff very friendly & helpful. Plenty of free parking.
Cheap and great location. Rooms need totally refurbishing and I couldn’t eat breakfast. Mattresses awful. It was quite clean and I did sleep ok. I booked last minute and the location as ideal for visiting family. I will book elsewhere next time.
