High Corner Inn, hotel in Godshill

Located in Ringwood New Forest, High Corner Inn offers a bar. Guest rooms in the inn are equipped with a TV. A Full English/Irish breakfast is served every morning at the property.

We had a very friendly welcome. The room was very well presented and as described. Several members of staff stood out. On arrival we were welcomed by Zoe, very engaging and funny. Thank you Charlotte, you were at all times welcoming, polite and professional. Mike on morning service worked very hard being on his own. Prompt polite and again engaging service. Really enjoyed our food, especially the venison, prepared by Piers, beautifully presented. Weather was kind and we enjoyed the walks we did in the surrounding area. This was our first stay in a Butcombe pub. We joined their loyalty scheme. Benefitted from the Wednesday food discount. Will definitely be visiting some of their other locations based on the experience.

I liked the location, in the aptly named Godshill, a very pretty village in the middle of the beautiful New Forest, with loads of beauty spots nearby, along with the pleasant town of Fordingbridge. The cabin itself is situated in a peaceful garden where you can relax in rural tranquility, and enjoy the private hot tub, which is the best feature of this accommodation. The owners were on hand to help and were very friendly and welcoming.

It was quiet in a peaceful position overlooking the fields on one side. It was extremely clean & comfortable & the kitchen was well stocked with all amenities. It was lovely to have a wood burning stove as the nights were very cold. It was lovely to have milk & eggs & chocolate & biscuits awaiting us on arrival. The shop was well stocked with all kinds of food & very helpful to have a post office with in it.

The location was excellent, with such easy access to great walks. The Hideaway is super cute, really well equipped and with an incredibly comfy bed! Hayley left a lovely welcome tray, with fresh eggs, biscuits and milk in the fridge. It was a really lovely sanctuary for a quiet few nights to recharge. I will definitely be back!

The apartment seems brand new (spotless bathroom) and is well equipped and finished. The bed is super confortable, the towels great quality, the heating system easy to use and quick, confortable sofa and big tv. The property is located by a quiet road so no traffic noise at all. The owners left a nice note for us together with milk, biscuits, elderflower drink and farm eggs, also fresh sunflowers which is such a lovely and welcoming detail.

Lovely location, Very peaceful, high spec accommodation which is really snug/ cosy. Neil and Suzy are really nice hosts, Suzy’s breakfast was delicious and plentiful. I would highly recommend street farmhouse to anyone who’s looking for a luxury stay in the New Forest.
