I was pleasantly surprised how quiet it was, given that it was a pub. I was expecting a lot of noise in a pub on a Saturday night, but it didn't happen. The bar doesn't play music or TV and the customers weren't very loud (though the rooms do overlook the beer garden, so you can hear some talking if you open the windows). Room was very clean and comfortable and the staff were super-friendly, helpful, and polite. It's in a convenient location, not too far from the main roads and the coast. Probably the best room in a pub I've ever had, and definitely on my list of 'places to stay when I go birding in Norfolk' from now on!

On arrival we were warmly greeted by Vance, who kindly offered to help us with our luggage.
They room was spotlessly clean with an amazing ensuite shower room, which looked as though it had recently been fully refurbished.
After a peaceful night, we were treated to an excellent breakfast, personally prepared by David, as good as any we've served in a 5* Hotel. Topped off with a fabulous pot of coffee, as we took in the expansive views of the countryside and watched the donkeys.
For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
The friendliness of our hosts. Fresh milk was available from the fridge in the dining room. The very nice breakfast each day. It was very quiet. Our room was very clean.
Lovely room with en-suite shower room, spotlessly clean. Tea, coffee, bottled water and a little fridge with fresh milk and a couple of Kit Kats in. The staff were all helpful and friendly.
A lovely local pub with beautiful boutique rooms.
Ben and Diane are excellent hosts and the breakfast is superb. I was able to bottle feed the lambs Larry and Barry and the dogs are welcoming and very friendly. We had a marvellous break at Little Abbey Farm - thoroughly recommend this B and B!
A great location for attending a wedding at Pentney Abbey. There was car parking available and the room was so quiet which was ideal for getting restful sleep. Delicious breakfast, with options for big or small appetites, and very friendly and helpful hosts.
We stayed for two nights and it was lovely to be able to walk around the farm and explore nearby footpaths, accessible from the farm.
The hosts recommended a local pub, Carpenters Arms, for an evening meal which was a short drive away with great food.
Lovely friendly village pub was made to feel like a local as soon as we walked in .
The staff look after you the food is amazing and the rooms are very comfortable and the decor is a lovely boutique style. Can't wait to go back for Sunday dinner yummy.

The property was lovely, warm and cosy and in a quiet location which was close to the places we wished to visit. The christmas tree was an unexpected lovely surprise thank you. We would love to stay there again when next in that part of the UK. Thanks again Jenny.
Flint Cottage is the perfect home from home (which is important to me when my work takes me away from my actual home!)
Very well provisioned and equipped, cosy, quiet, private, comfortable and the wood burner was the deal maker (I have one at home and love it!) Communication with the lovely Jenny was superb and the welcome hamper really appreciated. Thank you for making my stay at Flint Cottage so special.
