The staff were great. I tripped and fell at John o' Groats and broke my glasses, and they sent us to a shop that repaired them and didn't charge for it. The breakfast was great - it was the only place on our trip that offered kippers for breakfast, which I particularly like. The full (egg and bacon etc.) breakfast was also very good. Nice full sized bath. Comfortable bed.

Kacey could not be a more accommodating host. She also prepared great meals for dinner and breakfast and was able to accommodate all special dietary request for our group. To top it off her entire facility is extremely eco conscious. I would highly recommend the Burnside Cottage.

This was a delightful overnight. Richard and Jane were wonderful, friendly and accommodating hosts! The rooms were very comfortable, clean and well thought out with the traveler in mind. They had nice suitcase stands, shelving in the main room for personal belongings and a place to hang our jackets. The bathroom was a nice size with a set of shelves in the corner for our supplies and the lighting was fantastic! They also had adequate storage in the shower for our travel supplies. Breakfast was wonderful with plenty of options. It was delicious and well presented. We highly recommend this B&B.

Fabulous b&b in a great location. The bay suite was exceptional, such attention to detail. The bed was very comfy, lots of in-room facilities and incredible view over the bay with a bath in the room to view it from. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Thank you to our excellent hosts - just wish we’d stayed for longer!

Excellent location overlooking the Bay. Room (The Bay Suite) was beautifully appointed with a large comfortable bed, en-suite bathroom, area for drink making etc. The room also has the added luxury of a bath in the bedroom with views over the bay. Sheila was an excellent hostess and our breakfast served in the room was exceptional with lots of choice.

Best bed and breakfast stay in Scotland. Everything was fantastic starting from the size of the room, the wonderful view to the luxurious bathroom and the excellent breakfast. The breakfast is really outstanding, my husband ordered so many different things from the menu and everything was absolutely delicious! What made it really perfect for me was that there was an espresso machine in the room! Thank you so much for our wonderful stay!
