Old house with a lot of history. The room is not quite what it seems from the pictures: the furniture is a bit run-down The windows cannot be opened due to the exhaust from the Indian restaurant below.
The breakfast was wonderful and the tea room has a lot of atmosphere and history, which the landlady is more than happy to share.

The location was very central and near to the museum and main street.
The room was very spacious and comfortable and warm, with a huge bed, two small armchairs and a separate desk and table.
There was a large bathroom with shower and fluffy towels.
There was a separate area for making coffee and tea (mostly Fairtrade - hooray!) and a coffee machine.
There was a list of choices for breakfast - order the previous evening.
The hosts were excellent - relaxed and very friendly and helpful.
We thoroughly enjoyed our two day stay and would definitely stay again.

We liked the location of the property. The property had a lot of character and was very private and quiet with off road parking. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of plates and utensils.
We had bed and breakfast and the breakfast was exceptional. The room was very nice and it felt really welcoming. Having fresh milk delivered to your door each morning was a lovely touch. The location is great, it is only 5 minutes by car from Dorchester but you are in beautiful countryside. It was very quiet and the owners were great hosts. We will be returning in the summer for sure.
