Kings Arms Hotel, hotel in Crickhowell

Located in the heart of the Welsh market town of Abergavenny, Kings Arms Hotel offers bed and breakfast accommodation, a restaurant and free Wi-Fi throughout.

Absolutely loved this overnight stay. Exceeded my expectation! Staff were great, room was lovely and despite having a downside view you had no disturbances from the bar terrace below. Beds were really comfy and breakfast was amazing. Also love the idea of ordering your breakfast the night before so they can prepare accordingly and avoid food wastage. I also asked for something extra in the morning and this was no problem. We also asked around for restaurant recommendations and a few suggested the hotel restaurant. The food was fab and a mixed vibe of guests with tables nicely spread out for privacy.

It’s a beautiful townhouse and it’s gorgeous inside - smells lovely - v clean - very elegant yet homely. Has an almost Georgian classical feel to it. Really peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. Charming decor - especially in the shared lounge and breakfast room. All in all - this is a special place. And Gail is WONDERFUL- I wish I had longer to chat to her.

The location was beautiful, really tranquil, private and quiet! And the room was really nicely appointed, cosy and had everything we needed. The owners also look after the nearby campsite, which was a lovely shop full of local goods, and pop up food serving, which is a really nice touch.

Great location for a quiet get away. The loft was beautifully converted into a snug getaway for two and was extremely well equipped. We had a brilliant weekend here and would definitely visit again. It was suprisingly spacious and very comfortable, with modern facilities and a pub at the end of the road for when we didn't fancy cooking - couldn't ask for more!

What a lovely place to stay! Quiet, great location on the canal with narrow boats and very handy to local pub. Also great base for walking in the Beacons. Our hosts Joan and Des were friendly and helpful.
