The property was lovely and cosy. Rooms were small but excellent value for money. Lovely decor and facilities including a coffee pod machine in the room. Breakfast looked exceptional although we didn’t have time to dine in but they very thoughtfully gave us a little something for the road. Location is right next to the river which makes for a stunning evening walk while the suns out.

Lovely room and hosts provided several thoughtful touches to make our stay better. Food is top notch thanks to Michael’s background as a fine dining chef in Belgium and London. Made us welcome and were very attentive.

The Inn itself is beautiful in a picturesque village setting. We were pleasantly surprised to find that our accommodation was two side by side apartments with designated parking out front.
The kitchen/lounge/dining area is comfortable.
We would happily return.

This was our second stay at The Plough and was again everything we expected after the first. Clean, cosy, comfortable and the food delicious.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Beautiful views. Quiet and relaxing holiday. Enjoyed watching the visiting peacock and peahens. Plenty of walks from the property. Although next door to owners house, it was very private and not overlooked at all. Gift basket was a nice welcome. Not far from Clitheroe for supplies but felt isolated which was just what we were looking for.
Perfect stay! Beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, smelled lovely. Very comfortable stay in this quaint boutique cottage. It was a nice touch leaving provisions. Easy walk to Holmes Mill. Plenry of eateries around town. Great communication with Darryl. Highly Recommend.
Felt like ultimate luxury, everything has been thought of by the host and felt so private with such a breathtaking view. We will be going back in the summer and bringing our walking gear as it was surrounded by so many beautiful walks
Great location. Bed and breakfast was real value for money. Good nights sleep in a quiet and peaceful setting. Evening meal in the restaurant was delicious, Staff were so welcoming and friendly, really looked after me during my stay. Would highly recommend the overall hotel experience.
