Centrally located in a beautiful tranquil setting, easily found with allocated parking space. Contact from staff was perfect and housekeeping staff very helpful. Stayed in the Sun Room which was lovely and included a small fridge to keep breakfast items chilled, as appropriate.

We stayed in a family room, which had two connecting bedrooms and an ensuite bathroom. The bathroom had been renovated and was large with a shower and bath. The mattresses were comfortable and there were smart TV's in both rooms. The rooms were fairly quiet (mid-week)considering they were above a pub and next to a train station.
We had dinner in the restaurant, the food was pleasant and the staff were lovely.

Norwood Guesthouse was clean and comfortable. We had a room to the back of the guesthouse, so it was quiet. Having access to a washing machine was a consideration for us. For our purposes, close to the train station and walking distance to the pub, the Loch and Balloch Castle Country Park, it was well located. The breakfast for 5 pounds was certainly worth it. Peter was welcoming, friendly and helpful in advising us of a suitable day excursion.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Great location and the lodge was very comfortable. Hot tub was amazing and the surrounding area was nice and quiet. Plenty of local facilities such as a shop and cafe two minutes away. Overall very happy with our time at Balmaha Lodge.
Great location, staff super friendly and pod very clean with everything you may need there. The general area was very quiet at night which allowed for a relaxing stay.
We had a great stay in the lodge. Thorsten was a very friendly host with recommendations for the area. The rooms were very practical and charming, the communal kitchen was well equipped. Also a great location to discover the surroundings from. Would certainly recommend.
Great location for the West Highland Way. We were upgraded to a room in one of the cottages and it was spacious, comfortable, quiet and clean. The staff were super friendly and there was a good choice of food and drink at the pub for dinner and breakfast, including veggie options
Charming cottage on the shore of Loch Lomond. Felt very secluded and private, perfect for a quiet getaway. The garden has plenty of seating for you to take in the views.
Couldn’t really have asked for more, it was cosy, comfortable and exactly what we were hoping for. I’d definitely stay again.
Access to the beach was just a short walk from the property, and connected to a woodland/Loch side path to Balmaha.
