Lovely room. Bed very comfortable had a great nights sleep. Had dinner at The Bull which was excellent. Service from staff including checking in was great. Would definitely recommend and will certainly make a return visit.

We have stayed in Bury St Edmund’s on several occasions before, in various hotels/bnb’s. This was our first time staying at the Fox and I cannot recommend it enough.
The rooms were clean, spacious, well decorated and an excellent size. The bed was super comfortable, room had everything we needed and the breakfast in the morning was absolutely delicious! Well worth a visit.
The Westgate, a property with a bar, is situated in Bury Saint Edmunds, 600 metres from The Apex, 5.1 km from Ickworth House, as well as 38 km from Hedingham Castle.
Set in Stanningfield, in a historic building, 11 km from The Apex, South Barn is a guest house with a garden and barbecue facilities.

Really lovely location and the room was ideal. In particular the bed was super comfy! Originally booked for one day but elected to stay a second as it was such a nice place to be in whilst working locally :) Will definitely stay again!

For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Was a lovely quiet hotel with a little bit of luxury. Food was great. Staff really nice & friendly. Very hard working. Great that the weather was warm enough to use the outdoor pool. Building full of history.
Had a room in the main building which was great with a very comfortable four poster bed.
Lovely house, well equipped and modernised. Comfortable and clean. Luxury of having 2 ensuite bedrooms! Great location, just 5 min walk from the centre of town, but on a quiet street.
Host Kathryn was helpful, there were a few niggles and she did her best to sort them out.
Welcoming, tastefully furnished, quiet hotel in an excellent location within easy walking distance to the cathedral and the city centre. Excellent breakfast served by friendly staff. Good to have parking. Will happily stay there again.
Everything was wonderful. The staff was professional and friendly. The food was outstanding. We had both breakfast and dinner and everything was superb!
It's a great location, just off the main road but very quiet and private.
