We had dinner the night before and breakfast in the morning. Both were fabulous. Andrea cannot do enough for you - she was full of energy and the whole place is run like clockwork under her stewardship. We had a gorgeous room overlooking the stream and the Fox is in a beautiful location and well maintained. Honestly could not have asked for more. Thanks to Andrea and her team :)

Lovely old coaching inn, in a picturesque location. Friendly service, and very accommodating. Excellent evening meal menu. All inclusive breakfast was plentiful. Room was large and comfortable. Excellent value for money. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

Great rooms, friendly staff and in a great location
Breakfast was standard cooked, nice selection (no salmon on first day) and we had a great host who was supper helpful/friendly. The breakfast was in the conservatory which was lovely.
The bar in the pub is nice with some great locals in there who were extremely friendly. Bar staff were also super nice and helpful.
Great location for going on walks, on arrival we were given a leaflet with some local walks which was a nice touch.
This is a pub with only two guest rooms, not a high end fancy hotel, which suited us perfectly. Relaxed environment, large, private room with its own entrance, The Royal Oak is right in the centre of Burford but still really quiet. The staff were all cheerful and attentive. Breakfast was exceptional and served in the residents’ bar by the guy who cooked it: he was great, efficient, friendly and an English breakfast master chef!
Very quiet location in courtyard behind the Tea Rooms. Excellent breakfast available. Ideal location on Burford High Street close to local shops, restaurants and pubs.
