The room was set on tatami mats, with a mattress on the floor and soft lighting. The breakfast was very good, beautifully set table- Japanese style on the floor. The room was decorated in a Japanese motif with soft koto music and dim lighting. The garden was well taken care of, and the sound of the stream nearby made it relaxing. If you like the Japanese style of living or want to experience the taste of a Japanese inn, then this is the place for you!

We stayed upstairs in the family room. It was very comfortable and we were made to feel part of the family, who live in a separate house on the property. Parking is easy and directly outside the door but be prepared for stairs. The pool house is very nice and the pool is a good size for doing laps. The daily continental breakfast was good. Aurélie and her husband are very sociable and gave us good tips for exploring the area.
For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
Visited as a family for a night stay. Very spacious, heaters worked well, little fridge / kitchen and safe too. Loved the rainfall shower head in the modern bathroom. Great location .

Sadly when we arrived there was no room for us after a 7 hour drive. We waited for the manager. He had a solution. There was a room at another of their hotels 15 km away near Vichy. It was a cheaper hotel so our meal and wine were paid for by Clos. It was Hotel Larivaut which was excellent. Very pleasant manager and excellent food.
The hotel was satisfactory for the price paid. It was quiet and conveniently positioned about half way for our trip. The dinner was fairly simple but OK.
Very functional accommodation in the heart of a pretty town in a typical and quiet street.
With the children we went to the ILOA lake not far at all to enjoy the lake, swimming pool.
