This is a place that has far exceeded our expectations in many aspects. Alexandra and Olivier are absolutely perfect hosts, always lovely and helpful. Their house is perfectly clean and maintained with great care. It is a very cosy place with a beautiful garden and surroundings and divine views. For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Visited as a family for a night stay. Very spacious, heaters worked well, little fridge / kitchen and safe too. Loved the rainfall shower head in the modern bathroom. Great location .

Sadly when we arrived there was no room for us after a 7 hour drive. We waited for the manager. He had a solution. There was a room at another of their hotels 15 km away near Vichy. It was a cheaper hotel so our meal and wine were paid for by Clos. It was Hotel Larivaut which was excellent. Very pleasant manager and excellent food.
The hotel was satisfactory for the price paid. It was quiet and conveniently positioned about half way for our trip. The dinner was fairly simple but OK.
Very functional accommodation in the heart of a pretty town in a typical and quiet street.
With the children we went to the ILOA lake not far at all to enjoy the lake, swimming pool.
