The Chateau was in the vineyard. It was a beautiful setting. We were able to sit outside after a long day of sightseeing and enjoy the view. The breakfast was very good. The bedroom was large and had everything we needed. The staff was extremely helpful as well. We would definitely recommend staying here and would also come back.

We loved everything about this property. The Casita-style accommodation is superb. The bedroom was spacious and beautifully furnished, and the bathroom very lovely as well. Annsophie(sp?), the owner, was very gracious and presented us with a bottle of Bordeaux wine at our arrival. She also brought over a very nice continental breakfast at the time we requested in the morning. After a hectic week of travel, this was the perfect oasis and wish we had stayed more than one night.

The property is beautifully situated and is a gem of a small, restored and updated chateau. Its location provides intimacy and its grounds were the perfect setting for an impromptu picnic (light lunch we brought nearby) after a long flight. The host Raphael (and his pet dogs and his architect/artist father ) were welcoming in both heart and manner, amd put us at east. He also provided a tremendous amount of helpful and needed information of areas around Bordeaux. The visit was short but filled with colorful stories from Rapahel who offered an opportunity to acquire a beautifully illustrated limited edition book of curated doors/doorways found around Bordeaux - a collaboration between Raphael and his father. We would stay again in a heartbeat.

The atmosphere at Ker Amice was fantastic. Valérie is a wonderful host! The private garden area and spa were great for winding down. The breakfast every morning 🤌. We used our car to drive to a park and ride to take the tram into Bordeaux which was easy enough! We would absolutely come back!
For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
The property was very authentic, history overload. Very quiet. Superb pool. Outstanding hospitality by the chef/host, very personal attention which is rare in this region, as Bordeaux people are “special”. The Rose room is great, spacious and direct access to pool area. The property has a lovely ambiance inside with some very relaxing rooms to sit and enjoy an era long past. Easy access to some great restaurants and towns which the Host will recomend.
Chateau Le Truch is a beautiful place to stay. Set literally in the vineyards, each room is decorated with its own unique theme. Alain and Rae have collected lovely things from all over the world to furnish their rooms, which are extremely well designed. Breakfast was delicious. Alain gave us a private wine tasting of the Chateau’s own wine which was delightful, he also arranged dinner for us at an amazing local restaurant, ’Le Prince Noir’. If you’re in Bordeaux, it is spectacular!

Thank you Francois for lovely stay & for looking after us! He even drove my husband to the chemist to buy some products.
The location in a vineyard is fantastic. The rooms very well equipped, comfortable with an individual decor. Great hosts with wine makers knowledge. Great stay, many thanks to you both.
Marvelous couple making you feel at home the minute you step through the door. Careful details everywhere, from linen cloths to vintage porcelain for breakfast.
Don't come looking for standardised luxury. Instead come for the warmth and care that these marvelous couple offer in a quiet and charming Bordeaux vineyard.
