The hosts are very friendly and the breakfast was really enjoyable. The homemade jams were a great touch. The view from the balcony was amazing, and well protected so one is able to enjoy the view even in the rain! A very quiet neighborhood and a very quiet room.

This property was new on Booking.com. At arrival we had some difficulty finding the address as it turned out to be situated in the building of a restaurant which had street # 3 instead of the listed # 1. At the restaurant it was confirmed that we were at the right place. However, we had the feeling we come at a total surprise to them as the knew not of the confirmed booking and initially tried to have us cancel the booking as far as I understood. After I explained that this was a confirmed booking, they showed us the apartment which turned out to be the basement apartment that is usually occupied by the Chef of their restaurant. The waitress who greeted us initially was very friendly and only spoke French. A cook from the restaurant was able to communicate a bit in English and showed us the apartment. He explained that the apartment is named after Sisi the cat who lives there!. That was a bit of a surprise. Sisi was behind the curtain of the small basement window and was seemingly scared. As we were not in the mood to go find alternative accommodation after a long days drive we agreed to stay. To stay with the scary cat did not have our preference, but we did not see it much. The apartment had a coffee machine, microwave, water cooker etc. and in the fridge were complementary water, juice and yogurts. Unfortunately the restaurant closed in the afternoon for the day, but we were allowed to use the restaurant garden patio to watch the stunning mountainous surroundings at night. We also had a great breakfast there in the morning.

Great breakfast. Generous sized, and fully stocked place. Warm, spacious, well-located, cozy, safe and secure. Would recommend without reservation. Can sleep several more people as there were additional beds. Host was very easy going and kind.

Perched at the head of the Hauteluce valley, the chalet has stunning views of the surrounding mountain slopes and the Barrage at La Girotte. Breakfast and dinner on the lawn or terrace were beautifully quiet and peaceful, with the occasional whistle of a marmot. The location is perfect for starting mountain walks, and Nellie, our host, was a mine of information on where to go. Her home-cooked 3/4 course dinners were absolutely delicious.

Great location, close to the centre of the village & a short walk to the ski lift. perfect! Sylvie, who welcomed us on arrival, was really helpful & easily contactable for any questions we had. The apartment was very comfortable, warm & clean & very close to restaurants & a small supermarket. There was also good storage for skis & boots. Beautiful views of the mountains & valley from the apartment balcony & windows.
