Le Portanel is conveniently situated within walking distance of the Town of Eymet and less than 1k from some excellent walking and cycling routes. Our room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a private bath. The breakfast featured coffee/tea, warm croissants, a nice selection of fresh fruit, a selection of cereal/granola, and an option of eggs cooked to order. We had a Croque Madame, which was outstanding! The Portanel has a private, off street, parking area and they even allowed us to store our bikes in their garage! We really appreciated the time that Mark took to share his knowledge of the area.

Everything at this little gem was tops. The welcome, the room, the bed, the breakfast, the location. And mist of all Christine took such good care of us, even offering a chilled glass of rosé after a busy day! We will be back, often!

The hosts Aurore and Julien were charming and very welcoming. The room was immaculate, charmingly decorated, as was the rest of the house.
Breakfast was delicious with a lovely variety of food, beautifully served.

We had two large bedrooms, a large bathroom and a foyer for our rental, as well as access to a complete kitchen. Breakfast was a real treat, as was the hostess who served it.

Great location, just 100m up from the very popular square. Spacious well appointed bed room and en suite (we were in the red room overlooking the lovely courtyard). Breakfast each morning was lovely with fresh fruit, home made yogurt and preserves. But the lasting impression was the hospitality of our hosts, who gave us good recommendations for restaurants and activities, interspersed with great humour.
Great location for Eymet centre. Restaurants and shops. Very quaint in an old part of the Bastide.

This lovely charming house is in a great location near Eymet. The bedrooms are well decorated, spacious and well equipped. The garden is beautiful and the breakfast was fantastic. Mark and Tom are very welcoming and accommodating hosts. we really enjoyed our stay and would thoroughly recommend Le Portanel to others.
