This is the 3rd time I stay here. I know what I'm getting....peace, quiet, good food at night with the table d'hote option. The beds are extremely comfortable and the rooms spotless. I can park my car and not have to unload it when driving down south.

The family room was great, with separate bedrooms and one, within the turret, being circular! The swimming pool, though it isn't big, was fabulous and well-looked after. The breakfast is simple and served in a lovely room. The whole experience was of staying in a modest chateau - very relaxed and yet with a sense of grandeur. Nuits-St George is an easy drive away and could probably be walked to if driving is not an option.

* The rooms were extremely clean. It was as if they had opened the rooms of their homes to us.
* The design of the hotel was very nice. The gentleman who owns the hotel was normally involved in design and renovation.
* When we went to the hotel with the navigation, we wondered what kind of place we were going to, but when we arrived at the hotel and went to our room, we realized that we had come to a wonderful place with the view.
* The owners of the hotel were very polite and hospitable.
* They had asked us the time for breakfast via message and we did not understand. In the morning, we understood that they had asked to serve us the excellent food they had prepared with their own hands in their own kitchen.
* We had a little problem with the language, but we solved that problem immediately with the translator. They were also solution-oriented. There was a huge map in the kitchen and they explained the champagne region and its surroundings to us very well.
* Thanks to them, we learned about the park called Nigloland. We will stay at this establishment again next time and go there.
* The real bombshell was that the gentleman who owns the hotel came with us to a champagne producer and allowed us to buy excellent champagnes at very affordable prices and also to taste them.
* We can't wait to go to this hotel again.
* If anyone is thinking of going to this area, they can choose this hotel without hesitation.

Amazing cabin, so many facilities for children, brilliant warm pool, beautiful site, helpful staff, yummy breakfast, easy van parking, great location, unique! The town is also lovely.
The whole site was full of character and charm, making it a very nice place to stay for the weekend. It is nice that the car parking is set away from the cabins, making the whole site feel very safe and peaceful.
The trapped cabins are located in a peaceful and private area at the back of the site. Overlooking woodland.
The breakfast delivery and BBQ kit were great extras for a hassle free stay.

I have never stayed in a barrel before and this was a pleasant surprise. Albeit a bit cramped this has everything one needs ie comfortable bed, heating, shower and loo and in quiet surroundings
