On arrival we discovered my wife had lost her cell phone . Our hosts leaped into action , driving her back to the castle we'd just come from . And were instrumental in it being found and returned . Their bike 'garage' was handy and helpful . Just like the property .

The property is stunning. The mansion was built in 1790 and the staircase is a work of art. Our host was very kind and made sure we were very well cared for. The pool is picturesque and bright blue. We had a lovely time and highly recommend!

Great location
Lovely quiet room facing gardens with opening doors
Superb shower (best I’ve had)
Breakfast extra but excellent
Excellent bike storage
Very friendly and helpful staff
Warm and practical welcome that included phone directions to find the place in the village’s maze of one-way streets. Excellent breakfast. Nice people (very!). Lovely peaceful, well-equipped room. Decor charming and in keeping with the building. Wish we were there now.
A peaceful stay in a rural location. The room was spacious and comfortable. Liked the private terrace, excellent breakfast and swimming pool.
Very helpful staff.
Dog friendly charming little hotel in superb location in the centre of town, very welcoming staff and excellent choice of buffet like breakfast, easy parking nearby, our stay was very relaxing. The hotel was quiet, and we slept wonderfully on those superb mattresses!
Charming hotel, recently refurbished, welcoming staff. Nice bar area and excellent breakfast. Off-street secure parking. Enchanting town with lots to see, including the beautiful château at Azay-le-Rideau. Great location to then visit other châteaux nearby, including the beautiful gardens at Villandry.
What an interesting, comfortable and delightful place to stay. Beautifully appointed and with the warmest of welcomes. Great location on the edge of Azay-le-Rideau so quiet and peaceful but easy to walk everywhere.
Interesting to learn of the history of the chateau, which was in a quiet but easily accessible place. Lot of interesting places to visit nearby. We had a very comfortable room and an excellent breakfast.
There is a room for bicycles. Enough parking places even for e-cars if you need.
Quiet neighbourhood
The room was clean
The owner of the hotel, Philippe, was very friendly to us, for this we are very grateful.
Since all the bars and restaurants aren't close by, you can have dinner and a glass of wine directly at the hotel, if you order it in advance. However, we highly recommend the Fast food restaurant across the street - cheap, tasty, big portions and friendly personal.
Excellent location in this historic town. Very nicely prepared and presented. Charming, efficient hosts who were very attentive and served an excellent breakfast.
