Its in a good location for the Camino. The hostess who greeted me gave her all to make sure things were good. Many thanks to her! And, there is a mercado right across the street.

I absolutely loved my stay at Hostal La Maya and would recommend it 100%! The location is perfect, right in the center of the town. The room was beautiful, spacious, clean, and very comfortable. I had two personal balconies, one with a table and chairs to sit and enjoy the views. Check-in was very easy and the hostal staff is wonderful- so kind, helpful, and responsive. Thank you for everything! I hope to be back again sometime soon!

We are from USA and reserved 2 rooms for 2 nights to attend wedding in Segovia. Upon arrival staff who spoke no English told our friend who speaks Spanish that there is no air conditioning and provided one fan and also no wifi. Daughter is epileptic. We need air conditioning and wifi. We moved to another hotel nearby

The fact that we asked the staff for other room because one of us is asthmatic and cannot stay in an underground room and they agreed to give us the loft room

The property is almost surreal: it’s like going back in time; the area is huge; it’s beautiful; and so peaceful!
Hospedaje San Francisco is set in a 16th-century building, just 328 feet from Segovia’s impressive Roman Aqueduct. Together with Segovia Old Town, the aqueduct is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
The place was very nice and quiet. The room was very good, clean and comfortable. The food was amazing, they had lots of gluten free options (like gluten free bread). The staff was lovely and really nice.
Hostal was clean, comfortable and room had everything I needed. Location was excellent - on Camino Madrid and at start of mountain pass stage to Segovia. There is a cafe/bar on ground floor ( very quiet) plus the Railway Station/bus stop less than 100 yards away
And a reasonable price with friendly staff allowing me to check in early.
This was a lovely place to stay as a couple. The apartment was well equipped. The private terrace was a lovely space to sit out. It was a very relaxing place to be. Carmen was delightful and was great at keeping in touch. The area is perfect for access to walking routes.
The location was great, near enough Cercedilla town for a nice walk (25min) or short trip by car (5min) through dirt road. The room was spacious with lovely balcony and nice views. In a quiet area. The restaurant in the hotel was handy and staff serving were very good.
Everyone was very friendly and helpful. They wanted our stay to be a very happy experience. It's in a great location opposite the train station and very close to the bus stop for Madrid. Even so, it is very quiet. It is also an excellent base for some well marked mountain walks.
Breakfast was very good and there was a bottle of wine and a small fridge in the room.
We really enjoyed our stay and will return.
