Flor’s house was so cute and comfortable. I got my own room and bathroom. For couples it’s a bit cheaper than for a solo traveller, but it’s the same as most other accommodation options.
quite far from the town but definitely worth it. Hosts are extremely friendly and helpful with every information about the island. Although the community of El Progreso doesn’t offer the same services as the town does, there’s a lot of cheap or free services offered by the community. Definitely worth a couple nights, a little retreat in the small village of El Progreso. Thank you!
Wonderful stay at Flor's house, Flor and Mirna are such kind and welcoming people, they gave me loads of great advice for what to do on the island, as well as the rest of my stay on the Galapagos. They made me breakfast, helped with booking tours and hiring a bike for a cheaper price and gave me lifts into town.
I had my own comfortable room, with free water, AC, microwave and fridge and was made to feel like the house was my own. Truly lovely people!!
Great staff. Jonathan was very helpful in sorting out taxi rides and a Highland tour for us. Gustavo gave us rides to and from the airport at no additional charge. Lourdes prepared an excellent breakfast and helped us with laundry toward the end of our stay.
We were met from the pier and they took a taxi with us to the house and explained all about the house and local area. Good space for two people, really close to the beach and easy walk to town. Minimarket at the end of the street. On a generally quiet street. Nice space outside for drying clothes/swimwear. Balcony upstairs ideal for having breakfast. Aircon in main bedroom, a fan for the rest of the house. Cool, quirky place!
Charming building in great location (walking distance to Playa Mann, Interpretation Centre, and the city centre). Host and staff are very friendly, and provided almost instant answers to all questions through WhatsApp. All rooms have fans. Hot water in the shower. Nice, well-equipped kitchen. Felt very safe staying here.
Helpful hosts you can contact on Whatsapp any time. You could ask for anything and they would be at the apartment quickly to sort it out. Comfy beds of good size. Great location, can easily walk to town, the beach, snorkelling spots, etc. They send you a complete guide before arrival on possible tours, things to do on the island, etc.
