The Vaquero lodge offers better views and tranquility than others in the village due to its location. The room was comfortable and the shower was hot. The hammocks outside the room were nice. The family that runs it is generous and kind.

Conveniently close to the bus stop. 2 out 3 beds very comfy and the extra blankets were most appreciated. Food provided at the hostel opposite was good. Very basic no frills room, ignore the well staged photos and description.

Beautiful old hacienda. Nice walk with horses and great views above the hacienda. We experienced problems with our credit cards at the time of payment. The lady at the reception proved very friendly, patient and helpful.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
The best and cleanest hostel room we stayed in in South America! Great location on the Quilotoa Loop. Lovely rooms, fantastic veggie food, and friendly atmosphere.
Great place to stay en route to Quilotoa. We were upgraded from a dorm to a private room which was very spacious and comfortable. Sauna and steam room well worth it. Staff were lovely. Breakfast and dinner were nice.
Best option in town, so much cheaper than the American run one next door! Comfy beds, great food and unlimited free banana bread. Run by a local family. 100% would recommend, great value. Perfect for 2nd night on quilatoa trek
Great location and provides everything you want after a day's hiking. The room exceeded our expectations and was very comfortable. The owner is also very nice and helpful.
Great location. Spacious room with private bathroom. Free filtered water. Generous portions for dinner and breakfast. Good value packlunch available for additional $3. Recreation room with table tennis etc available. Hot water in the shower. Hammocks.
Excellent position on Quilotoa loop, with great food provided for dinner and breakfast (veggie and food intolerances easily catered for). Optional packed lunches were also great, and cheap ($3).
Rooms were quiet and comfortable, and showers warm. Property has spa ($3), although we didn’t use this.
Staff extremely welcoming and helpful.
