Villa Strand is an exceptional place to stay. It is separate to the Hotel Hornbaekhus, where we had breakfast and evening meal. The hotel and rooms are decorated and furnished in a tasteful Nordic style. There is a lovely balcony with views over the dunes to the sea. There is direct access on to the lovely sandy beach, and it's just a few minutes from the lively village centre. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend Villa Strand if you enjoy a peaceful and relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings.

I had a lovely welcome at this friendly, cosy hotel. The location is excellent, very close to the train station and in the centre of town, and my room had a lovely view of the old rooftops. I was very happy with my single room and actually decided to extend my stay because there was such a nice atmosphere. Spacious bedroom and bathroom, great shower, lovely big window and quiet at night. A lot of hotels feel quite clinical these days, but this place has a soul. I would definitely stay here again!
The Apartment was very clean, well appointed, and spacious. The large terrace has sunshine the entire day. Very modern and well equipped kitchen. The premises are located in a quiet residential area that is only a 20 min walk to the quaint city center. Within the picturesque City Center are many shops, restaurants and Museums.

It is a beautiful well decorated appartement in the city center. Walking distance to all shops, restaurants, the castle and the ferry. Quiet during the night and good beds. Very complete and clean. To summarise: can really recommend!
Out of town single storey motel style without the associated USA style angxt. Parking literally by the bedroom door. 8mins into city centre. Excellent value, Liked the strict rule re 10 pm curfew which meant quiet nights. Agreeable seperate breakfast building and bar, with flower garden. Perfectly acceptable serving choices
