We wanted to visit Münster but did not find similar holiday apartments in the city. So we opted for this holiday apartment in Davensberg and commuted to Münster by train. The commute with manageable, except when the train was late. The handing over of the key was not complicated. It was nice that we could check in at 2pm already.
The apartment itself was comfortable and has everything you need for a holiday with family. The bathroom was spacious. The open kitchen was equipped for cooking and baking, with a stove, an oven, and a dishwasher. For entertainment, there were some board games, such as Rummikub.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Pro’s:
Nice room (spacious enough). Walk-in shower with rain shower.
Friendly staff.
Good breakfast with plenty of choice.
Great location in city centre. Parking garage below.
Great location. This is a tired hotel (but rooms were clean) we used it as an overnight stop on a road trip and it worked well for that, it wasn't a disaster for us. Munster was great and there are easy cycle/walking routes into the city centre through the park.
Munster is the 'cycling capital' of Germany and the cycle paths worked very well.
It was cheap.
Minimalist in design and space but superbly designed to meet all comfort needs and basic requirements. No wastage of superfluous room items or space. Real filter coffee available 24/7 in the dining hall instead of artificial powder coffee in the rooms. Excellent location for exploring Munster city centre and accessing basic store in the station vicinity. Room was quiet and private despite being adjacent to the railway station.
Very friendly, flexible and welcoming hosts. Great location in a quiet and green neighborhood, with a very good bus connection to the city center. Very nice bakery and a supermarket at a walking distance. The apartment is very nicely decorated and well equipped, with everything needed for a comfortable stay (even fresh coffee beans were provided). One immediately feels at home!
