My favorite place to stay on my way from Amsterdam to Berlin or other places in Germany. Just behind the border in a beautiful, green area.
Very quiet, with nice rooms, free parking and a fantastic breakfast: A lot of fruits, müesli, yoghurts, delicious German "Brötchen" (bread), eggs, cheese. For vegetarians also really enough choices.
The people are so kind, and it's such a lovely place that I definitely want to go back there at my next German trip or holidays.
Schüttorf is also worth a visit (Dutch and German infornation is available at the reception), and in summer a dive in the Quendorfer See is a highlight for the whole family, with the nice restaurant "Else am See" for really good food and drinks.
