Room was very clean and spacious. It had a modern design and with all your needed amenities. The property was very peaceful and surrounded by nature. I was lucky enough to see monkeys . I preferred staying here over the Tamarindo Beach. I felt right at home . The pool was a great place to relax and take in the sunshine

It is slightly remote. When you drive in, take a left at the big tree and an immediate second left directly into the gate. Very relaxing property......in the countryside.

We loved our stay here. La Ramona Charming is a lovely 5 unit hotel, just a few mins away from everything you need. The hotel is family owned. They are all very friendly and helpful. A daily breakfast is made to order and it is delicious. You won’t walk away hungry for sure! The hotel is tucked away on a quiet side street, just a 5 min walk to the shops and beach. The rooms are comfy and the wifi works well. We were a group of four and stayed in the family suite. It worked well for us. We would definitely stay again.
The location was perfect! Just out of the way from the main hustle and bustle of Tamarindo and so close to Langosta beach we absolutely loved it! Super private suite, very quiet and loved the pool! The bed was also very comfy and the kitchenette was great for small meals, coffee and morning tea!
I recently stayed at the Capitán Suizo Beachfront Boutique Hotel in Tamarindo. The hotel staff were outstanding throughout my stay, from the front desk to the restaurant and other areas of the property. The on-site restaurant served delicious food, and there were always chairs available by the pool and the beach. The hotel is located on the quieter end of Tamarindo beach, which was a nice change of pace.
This lodge appears to be the result of a passion project of the owners, Stefano and Sonia- both of whom are always around and happy to help you with whatever you need- whether its tips on activities, local spots etc. They truly do their best and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The room was cozy and had everything needed for a short stay- we purchased the breakfast one of the days (cost $10 USD) and it was quiet nice- price on par, if not slightly cheaper, with breakfast options elsewhere in the area.
This place is awesome for what we desired - peace, quiet, great host with even better service. Clean, spacious with A/C which we needed because it hit 40degrees outside one day. Nice pool with great seating for relaxation and even a setup for remote working under a cooling palapa. Great location, away from the hustle of Tamarindo but still close to a few restaurants and an amazing quiet beach for those spectacular sunsets. Highly recommend for couples looking for quality time together. Pura Vida.
Great location little bit outside the busy and loud center of Tamarindo. Very quiet, private and beautiful, would have loved to stay longer. Breakfast was excellent, too.
