The breakfast was lovely. We ate outside under the covered porch and watched soooo many hummingbirds while we ate. Breakfast was eggs, toast, fresh stuff, juice and coffee. It was yummy and the presentation was nice. The staff were also super friendly.

Great location and breakfast at this cute family-owned Bed and Breakfast. The grounds in the back are stunning and the rooms were super charming and comfortable. The highlight was lingering at breakfast and watching the gorgeous birds, including a pair of parrots that live on the property, and listening to the rain. The breakfast was delicious and they provided basic cereal and hot chocolate for the younger kids. The abuela and her nieta who run the place were lovely. The little fast food place next door was also run by a super sweet lady who stayed open later to make dinner for my kids, since we arrived at around 6 and most places were closed.

Wonderful little casita with a balcony overlooking the entire town, plus a terrific tree that attracted about 10 species of birds every morning, including two species of toucans. See photos taken from the balcony! Well equipped, clean, comfortable, with helpful hostess. Walking distance to lake and town center, various restaurants. Also the visitor-friendly pickleball venue at Plaza de Toros!

Our first visit to Arenal was made memorable by staying here! Our balcony opened up to the volcano. And the lake is right there too! ALL Arenal activities are close to this property. Mistico Hanging bridges, Arenal 1968 Trails, all lake activities are 100 feet away and a short walk up the road takes you to Shailee’s viewpoint. Another memorable view from there.
Food is also excellent! We had the local sea bass one night-it’s 3 huge fish. Pura Vida

The tropical garden at the bed and breakfast is delightful. We enjoyed Marita's wonderful breakfast as we gazed over beautiful foliage and bird-watched. The hosts gave excellent suggestions about area activities and provided a very helpful map. Watching the sunset from the nearby lake park was terrific.
The property is beautifully nestled along a bubbling brook, close to lake Arenal with an easy drive to Liberia airport and all the hiking and activities near LaFortuna. Trent was a great host with great recos on places to eat nearby. (Gingerbread House is a must for dinner!) . Nice pool and amazing landscaping. Breakfast was simple but delicious. Great coffee, fresh orange juice and fresh fruit. eggs, meat. etc. highly recommend!
Beautiful property in ideal jungle location. Quiet, relaxing and tranquil. Good location with many attractions within a short drive. Breakfasts were fantastic - fresh fruit, juice, eggs, pancakes and bacon, not to mention endless Costa Rican coffee.
Staff were all fantastic.
A quaint Bavarian chalet with lush landscapes, European food, birds galore and fabulous vibes. Trails through the woods, a swimming area in a small river, feeding toucans by hand every morning, a very reasonable price for private rooms, an entertaining host. Like stepping into a Wes Anderson film. A true hidden gem.
