Nice rural quiet setting on a horse farm. Charming ambience. Very well appointed and spacious accommodations. Breakfast was excellent including made-to-order eggs in a warm and inviting room.
Inn Keeper Ann is a wonderful hostess. Very friendly and warm in her hospitality and made sure our 3 night stay was perfect. She is fluent in English as well. We also met the one cat, Nala and the pony!

For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
The location of the property suited us very well. It is close to the motorway, but still very quiet. The room was in a separated building so we didn’t disturb anyone.
Shangri-La is spotlessly clean. Bedroom 3 is medium sized with a King size bed (comfortable). The ensuite marble bathroom (shower only) was of a good standard and again spotlessly clean.
The Hotel is in an extremely quiet setting as was room 3 which backed on to neighbouring gardens.
Breakfast is a self-service buffet with a good choice of quality food.
The host (Guy) was welcoming, friendly and attentive when needed
This fancy, family friendly holiday home in the vicinity of Herzele is run by kind locals. It offers clean beds and bathrooms, a clean and very well-equipped kitchen (2 fridges and dish washers), and two gardens.
It is located near Herzele, and a good starting point for hikes.
Some might say it's not cheap, the counter argument being: pay a little extra, get a little extra.
