This was a unique stay as the property is situated near the Glenbrook escarpment with its uninterrupted view of the bush and a very old Angophora tree on the boundary of the property. So relaxing to be in this peaceful, natural Australian bush setting.

Despite the icy cold weather, Bronwen warmly greeted us when we arrived late in the afternoon. She led us through the lovely well kept gardens and let us intro the cosy retreat. The little roaring log burner was perfect to relax beside and hide away from the bitter wintry conditions. The happy fat rooster woke us up to a stunning sunrise over the mountains below and we mooched around the woodland greeting the animals -Flora the pig and Bowie the giant fluffy dog were a special treat! The sweet mini ponies in the paddock at the entrance were keen to be let loose to roam ☺️Freshly laid eggs, freshly baked sourdough loaf and locally sourced apple juice made for a welcome breakfast.
The sauna in the woods was fun and a perfect way to unwind. The bed was large and luxurious with fabulous bedding, decorated with local sprigs of greenery and towels for the sauna! We slept like logs and felt replenished after just a short stay.

Loved being greeted with a friendly, smiling owner who greeted us by first name. Felt like a we were like old friends, so welcoming. It is nestled in a secluded mountain area backing a national forest, very quiet and peaceful. Loved being able to cook our own breakfast (as we had to leave early) and there was more than enough available and good variety. Quaint period style, which we loved and so comfortable. Large spa helped wash away the days travels and eased our weary bodies. Lovely rambling garden.
