An extremely comfortable stay with a large separate kitchen/living area and a huge modern bathroom with a washer and dryer. The bed was very comfortable and warm and the floor was heated, which is great for Ballarat in winter! I would have liked a door to separate the living and bedrooms but it was a tiny problem compared to the rest of the place. It’s well located if you have a car but you need a car if costing Ballarat anyway.

We stayed at Tell Tales during a quick trip to Victoria.
We were welcomed to Tell Tales Bed & Breakfast by the lovely owners Lee and Debbie. Our room was super clean and smelt fresh and beautifully warm on entering.
We were treated to afternoon tea goodies on arrival. Everything you need for a nights stay was provided.
The old Melbourne tram set up on the property was a great place to enjoy our perfectly cooked breakfast the next morning.
Well worth the overnight price and would definetly stay here again.

The house was lovely, set off a main road, close to bus stops, shops and the river. Easy to walk to and from town or to catch a 5-minute bus if the weather is inclement. Hosts were very attentive, the garden was lovely too.

Great location, convenient off street parking and decent sized rooms. Good hot water shower that left my hair feeling very soft. Good sized fridge. Nice quiet neighbourhood during the week. The beds were pretty comfortable and had electric blankets, hilariously one was on upside down with the heat controls at your feet. Enjoyed our stay.

It was a great location not far from the city centre yet was very quiet considering the amount of traffic going past. Very friendly staff that were willing to help when needed.
A great location near Sovereign Hill. Quiet and it was great to have a decent amount of freezer space for our meals. The beds were comfortable and the apartment spacious. I booked a single room for my son and I and we were given a two bedroom apartment which was amazing and allowed me to work in peace. The wifi was reliable which is really important to me when I’m on work trips. It’s not 5* luxury but it was everything I needed it to be and the staff were lovely.
