We loved staying at Guesthouse Luiza for our family vacation in October (6 nights) - it was the highlight of our Albania trip! Luiza and her sisters made us feel very welcome, they are so nice and always made time for everything we needed and for a chat. They are very dedicated and we loved their home-cooked hearty meals so much, that we ended up eating every meal there for the week. The beautiful garden was perfect for our 3 year old who loves to run around and for our 12-year old who loved to read in a quiet corner of the garden. During our stay the oranges, grapes, olives and pomegranates in the garden were being harvested - so delicious!. We were allowed to move to another apartment downstairs, after already checking in to an upstairs one (very nice - great view), but downstairs was way more convenient for the small (active) child. Just an example how Luiza and her sisters made sure all our wishes were fulfilled. The beach is very close, just a 1-2 minute walk away. Almost all other touristic places were closed at the end of October (2 small supermarkets in walking distance still open), so we were lucky with great sunny weather and a very quiet surrounding. Since the mountains are very close, we had great hikes around Borsh, Qeparo Fshat and in the Shushica-Valley (now accessible via a new paved road). So the location is not only great for beach days, but also great for hiking and exploring the southern Riviera, we did several different day trips from there. We hope to come back one day and can fully recommend staying there!

We loved our stay and were blown away with the generosity of the owner. The stone and wood cabins set in such a beautiful garden in a quiet location were a dream. The location is 20 mins walk from some amazing beaches and the town- the distance resulted in a relaxed stay away from the busy centre. Must try their yummy jams! Really lovely and well maintained grounds with a gorgeous view. Apartment itself is basic but has everything you need and if not the owners are nice and if you ask they will help you with what you need. It’s walking distance to the little market and bakery in town.

Originally I planned on staying 2 nights but I extended to 4 nights, that's how much I enjoyed my solo holiday here. I stayed in two different rooms, first with ocean view, then facing the back. Both were spacious, comfortable and clean, although quite basic. It's a no-frills family-guesthouse style accommodation. The owner is super friendly, helpful and responsive. Most of all, the location perfectly met my needs for a quiet, relaxing corner on a beach with immediate access to crystal clear waters, plenty of restaurant options and a minimarket within walking distance, plus a beautiful sunset view. I'd love to stay here again.

Himarë has 3 sections:
1. A crowded and noisy one with lots of restaurants and shops,
2. A quiet one with close to no shops and overpriced restaurants
3. And one in the middle - which was PERFECT for us.
The owner is always smiling, extremely nice, helpful and friendly - a true golden soul. The room service is very polite and nice and they clean your room EVERY DAY :o.
The parking has a lot of space to maneuver and is placed between two buildings.

1. Location: the view over the golf is breath-taking, but is a bit far from the center. I think this was the accommodation with the greatest view we had in Albania (we've came from Sarande, Berat, Shkoder and Tirana).
2. Accommodation: good, not the best, a bit expensive imho, since they don't a restaurant on the premise or nearby and no vending machine. The balcony is great for taking pictures of the bay.
It has parking at the front, which is good, but I think is a bit small, given the size of the property and number of rooms.
They have a number of terraces where you can serve your own food (!) or a drink.
Pleased with the room size and bed size as well. Clean all over the place.
3. Staff: friendly people.
Situated in Piqeras in the Vlorë County region, Villa Bianca1 has a garden. Rooms are fitted with a balcony with sea views. All units feature air conditioning and a flat-screen TV.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Great location and away from the busy parts of the beach. Excellent rooms and we loved spending time under the big olive tree in the center of the property. The section of beach across the road was quiet clean and very relaxing. Will stay again next time we are in Borsh.
We had spacious and clean room with balcony in a quiet neighborhood , free parking was near the house, at the private place. Wonderful Borsh beach was 2 minutes walking distance.

Great location, road to the beaches through beautiful olive groves, private waterfall 30 m from the hotel, amazing place, clean swimming pool,rooms large and clean, tasty breakfasts prepared by the housewives, the owners will cook everything we wished, Hotel run by a wonderful family, a great place to rest with children. Very cute and quiet place close to the beach. Luiza is a great host! We were travelling in winter, and chose to stay in the wooden chalet, since it is much warmer than a stone house, and it was a good choice! Ali Pacha fortress nearby is definitely a place to visit!
