The host greeted us upon our arrival late at night and happily shared about all the exceptional amenities. Beautiful shared space for a short stay with a beautiful ocean view and access to an inviting swimming pool. We did not make the time to enjoy the pool on this visit; next time. The space was well organized with bins to store food items and access to fridge space on a nice outdoor veranda overlooking plush trees and a spectacular view of the ocean. Thank you for a wonderful first stop on the island. Great first impression!

Located within 18 km of Lava Tree State Monument and 34 km of Pana'ewa Rainforest Zoo, Wild Blue Water provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Pahoa. It’s situated on the bank of the ocean. Has incredible view on it. Room is sooo clean and comfortable. Has all necessary thing and more: microwave, coffemachine, cutlery, plates. You can sleep and breath by ocean’s air, and hear it (like you are on the beach right now). Private parking. Raven and Mark made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. We thoroughly enjoyed talking 'cats' and already miss her beautiful fur babies. Raven accommodated to our vegan needs for breakfast and coffee. Thank you for a memorable stay, loved our chats! Would definitely stay here again.

Offering a garden and sea view, Orchid Tree B&B is situated in Hilo, 100 metres from Honoli'i Beach Park and 3.3 km from The Pacific Tsunami Museum. We can highly recommend the Orchid Tree B&B. It has a great location, close to the city center and the airport. The rooms are tastefully decorated and cozy. The exceptionally friendly landlord is always available to provide helpful tips on dining and sightseeing. The garden is a well-maintained tropical paradise, and breakfast on the terrace is simply heavenly. Everything is wonderful and invites you to stay longer. Definitely worth a visit! Situated in Kailua-Kona and only 8.9 km from Kaloko-Honokohau National Historic Park, Hale Hualalai features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Finding Hale Hualalai for our last two days on the big island was a stroke of luck. The facility is tucked away off a mountain road surrounded by coffee plantations and endowed with a panoramic view. It was a distinct pleasure to have conversations with Ricky, who is an excellent host and cook. We particularly enjoyed eating his delicious breakfasts while gazing out at the beautiful view and watching the hilarious antics of the geckos. Ricky is also a great source of information about the island and Hawaii in general. The location is great for coffee tasting. (Be careful about getting over caffeinated and driving on the winding mountain roads!). We initially chose to stay at Hale Hualalai because of proximity to the airport, which is only 15 minutes away by car.

Hale-Hoola B & B is located in Captain Cook. Free WiFi access is available. Each room here will provide you with a patio and a seating area. Absolutely amazing. The owners should put better photos on Booking.com. All 4 rooms have a terrific ocean view, a tropic forest behind a window, endless songs of Hawaiian birds in the evening and in the morning! The room was clean and nice, the lanai was beautiful, and the owners were very nice people. Breakfast was great, homemade food that the owners make for their guests every morning. Having your breakfast on the huge balcony on the second floor surrounded by tropical trees canopies with myriads of birds was amazing. Location was also convenient for us as we were exploring the entire island. There is a large supermarket in 15 min drive from the house.

Boasting garden views, Earthy Beach House features accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 1.9 km from Pahoehoe Beach Park. Loved the whole bohemian vibe Everything needed was there. We had an infant with us and there were high chair, play mats, toys everything. Kitchen was well equipped. We prepared two meals everyday and the dining area was minimal & perfect for 6 of us. Everything was just 5-10 mins drive.
