Welcome to the Port Stephens Koala Sanctuary! Nestled in the picturesque coastal region of Port Stephens, NSW, our 8ha sanctuary offers a unique opportunity to connect with Australia's beloved koalas... Really clean, new bathroom and room, and great attention to detail with the specially chosen items for breakfast for our two rooms (one dairy free, one with dairy). The tour the next morning was excellent too, love how passionate and knowledgeable the tour leader was.

Halifax Holiday Park offers self-contained accommodation with direct access to Shoal Bay Beach. All apartments have a private patio, a fully equipped kitchen and access to shared barbecue facilities. We were on a road trip to the snow and sadly arrived late both times to appreciate our surroundings. We appreciate the phone calls months ago as we had booked two nights one week apart that would have looked like a booking mistake on our behalf so thank you all for making sure we had booked both dates.

Home was spacious,warm and felt homely- like you could relax and not have to worry about getting things too dirty or breaking anything. Wish we had more time to enjoy. Definitely will be back if we are lucky enough to snap it up again.

The views and location. Soldiers Point is quieter and laid back compared to busy Nelson Bay, with no metered parking spots (a pet hate of ours) and great eating destinations only a short walk or drive away. Our host Lynne is always available and very helpful and friendly. We prefer this personal touch rather than dealing with a Real Estate who doesn't respond to inquiries and has a long list of additional administration fees and requirements not quoted in the original tariff.
