We were on a road trip to the snow and sadly arrived late both times to appreciate our surroundings. We appreciate the phone calls months ago as we had booked two nights one week apart that would have looked like a booking mistake on our behalf so thank you all for making sure we had booked both dates.

The location was very close to town and shops. The whole property was clean and spacious. The facilities and amenities were everything you would need if you were away from home. We loved that linen and towels were provided for as well. It’s such a gem of a find in Nelson Bay!

Soldiers Point is quieter and laid back compared to busy Nelson Bay, with no metered parking spots (a pet hate of ours) and great eating destinations only a short walk or drive away. Our host Lynne is always available and very helpful and friendly. We prefer this personal touch rather than dealing with a Real Estate who doesn't respond to inquiries and has a long list of additional administration fees and requirements not quoted in the original tariff.
