Great location in Ipanema. 2 blocks to a very nice section of the beach where there are multiple places to rent beach chairs and umbrellas. The apartment was extremely clean and well appointed. The bedroom was great for two people and the overall layout of the apartment was excellent. There are smart TVs with Netflix, YouTube and cable in both the bedroom and the living room. The wifi was very good. There is a large couch, dining room table with 4 chairs, a desk to work from, good lighting throughout. Very comfortable. There are 2 split aircon units, one in the bedroom and one in the living room. Also, two ceiling fans. Plenty of outlets. There is a good sized full kitchen with small table, big refrigerator, water purifier, coffee maker, etc. The bathroom was nice, with large shower with plenty of hot water and pressure. There is a clothes washing machine and a drying rack, 2 beach chairs, beach umbrella. Marcella even supplied snacks, soda and cold water in the refrigerator. Marcella seems to have thought of just about everything to provide an enjoyable stay. The 24 hour doormen were very friendly and helpful. We were able to leave our bags in a storage area before check-in time. Marcella and her son Bruno are very friendly and made us feel right at home. We felt totally safe in the apartment.

Great location, the house is super cool looking and I loved our loft bed (not so convenient if drunk or pregnant I suppose haha). The host is super friendly and helpful and he recommended a list of some great Brazilian music artists to us after we showed interest. They also did our laundry for free which was super nice! We especially loved the breakfast! It was amazing! And the music really adds to it :) Going up the hill was a bit of a workout so be prepaired for that. Would love to stay again!

Absolutely phenomenal hotel! The staff was lovely, breakfast was delicious, view was gorgeous, bed was so comfortable, location was perfect! I can’t say enough good things about this hotel and its owner! Wish I could have stayed longer. I also felt very safe staying here as a solo female traveler! Would definitely recommend to anyone going to Rio!

The apartment is near the beach and there's a nice side view too the sea from the bedrooms, and a nice view to the Christ in Corcovado from the bathroom. The beds are comfy and the air condicionating works perfectly in all rooms. The kitchen is well equiped and there's even a wash machine (which I didn't use). There's a lot of restaurants and grocery stores around.
