This space was absolutely amazing with some of the most beautiful views. The road to get there is steep and windy so make sure to have a good vehicle. Spending time on the balcony with drinks and books during sunset and sunrise is an absolute must. Having a filtered water tap is so convenient so we did not have to worry about buying water at the store for our entire stay. Getting to anywhere on the island is no problem as long as your vehicle can handle the steep and sometimes very windy roads.

Location gave great views of the bay and some surrounding islands. Nice sunsets and a frequent visitor, green iguana, in the surrounding vegetation. We even named him Iggy, as we saw him every day from the screened in porch.

We stayed in the Papaya unit and would definitely stay here again. The unit was spacious, clean, and had an excellent view. The extra touches, like beach towels and chairs and a cooler, were so unexpected and very much appreciated. Check in and check out were simple too. I would warn future guests to be ready for the steep roads of St John. We had a small SUV and had no problems, but these hills are way past what I'm used to driving. Just take it slow and you'll be fine. There's even parking on site, which is a big deal on St John.

Complete with a private beach area and pool with a view, Coconut Coast Villas is situated in Contant, 1.9 km from Honeymoon Bay Beach and 2.7 km from Caneel Bay Beach. I liked everything about the hotel. We were right on the beach and had a beautiful view of palm trees and the ocean. We had everything we needed in the room (kitchen, great TV, comfortable furniture), and we could walk into town or to the market to get what we needed. Plus, we could do laundry for free if we needed clean clothes.
