Toufek, Karima and their family welcome you like you are a part of their family, sharing meals and conversation together. This was my favourite place in Tunisia! Comfortable, clean, delicious authentic Tunisian food and amazing company. I cannot wait to come back!

He made us feel very welcome and was a great help giving us the local information we needed. He went with us to make sure we got on the right louage when we went to visit Chenini (don't miss it) and again when we left for Djerba. We enjoyed staying in the house and having our breakfast in the shade, under the stairs to the rooftop terrace where the view was great. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this traditional house without 5 star hotel luxury, but full of local atmosphere and a host we always could count on.

Good communication and responsiveness via WhatsApp. The small kitchenette is equipped with the basics for making simple meals. Air conditioner and WIFI worked well. Felt secure with a locked metal gate/enclosed courtyard. No off street parking for a car, but it is on a quiet side street, so we never had a problem parking in front. Great base for exploring the Tatouine area. Highly recommended.
