The host, Dr. Sadok offered to meet us at the louage station upon arrival. He made us feel very welcome and was a great help giving us the local information we needed. He went with us to make sure we got on the right louage when we went to visit Chenini (don't miss it) and again when we left for Djerba. We enjoyed staying in the house and having our breakfast in the shade, under the stairs to the rooftop terrace where the view was great. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this traditional house without 5 star hotel luxury, but full of local atmosphere and a host we always could count on.

Air conditioner and WIFI worked well. Felt secure with a locked metal gate/enclosed courtyard. No off street parking for a car, but it is on a quiet side street, so we never had a problem parking in front. Great base for exploring the Tatouine area. Highly recommended.
