The location was great - very peaceful, 10 mins walk from the old city, and not extremely touristy, which we enjoyed. 5 mins walk to 7-11 and plenty of places to eat nearby. We also really liked the courtyard, a very nice place to relax in for a bit after a full day of visiting - lots of plants and the friendly dog :) Also, our host was very helpful and nice, helping us with tips on where to go for the festival, where to eat, how to do laundry, etc

Friendly staff, clean, good service. You should try to book a room with breakfast, we adults and kids were overwhelmed. We stayed for four nights, first morning we all got English breakfast- too much variety to eat. We requested Thai breakfast for adults from next day. It was amazing.

Ban Pongphan, a property with a terrace, is set in Chiang Mai, 800 metres from Central Plaza Chiang Mai Airport, 1.7 km from Chiang Mai Gate, as well as 2.5 km from Chedi Luang Temple. Really good value. I spent 3 nights here and had nothing to complain. The owner is super friendly and helpful. They also provide scooter rental & airport picking services. Free fruit, snack & coffee at the reception. Highly recommend!
