A recently renovated property, Kandavas Apartments is located in Daugavpils near Daugavpils Ice Arena, Mark Rothko Art Centre and Science Center Zinoo Daugavpils. We were met by the host at the bus station in Daugavpils. He helped to get to the place and even to carry our luggage! Very polite and friendly person! The apartment is clean, cozy and comfortable! Definitely 10/10!

An excellent choice if you're passing through this sweet town. The apartment feels spacious, and it offers free parking directly outside. It isn't intuitive to find (which side of the building to enter, which door to use, which floor to go to, which key fits into which door...so ask the host for clear and specific details) but you're rewarded when you make it! The fixtures are new, the bed is comfortable, the wifi is fast and the sauna is outstanding and the host was very quick to respond for any questions we had (including how to work the sauna). There were some items in the kitchen that could have benefitted from a more thorough clean, but generally this is an excellent choice and definitely a comfortable and enjoyable night's stay.

Cosy&White apartment in Daugavpils is set in Daugavpils, 400 metres from Daugavpils Church Hill, 1.4 km from Daugavpils Ice Arena, as well as 2.9 km from Daugavpils Olympic Centre. Host was very responsive and kind. Stairwell looks run down, but interior is bright and cheerful. Host nestled all sorts of amenities in a small space in inventive ways, such as small string lights to create workspace illumination. Cheerful place. Comfortable sitting space, kitchen table with chairs. Many mirrors. Comfortable bed and light-blocking drapes for sound sleep. Has huge TV (which we didn't use). Excellent secure internet! Note to travelers from USA: this is Latvia. Think of US amenities circa 1950. No microwave. Single burner hotplate with many good pans, a great hot water/tea kettle. Small dorm-size fridge works well, keeps food nice and cold. To use the washing machine, twist the water valve under the sink to horizontal position. To shower, twist to vertical. Also remember that utilities are very expensive in Latvia; it is a kindness to your host to conserve.

Fantastic place in a lovely house on a quiet street. I was very warmly welcomed by Alex and his babuška Galina with some fresh vegetables from the garden. Spacious and clean flat, very well equipped. Highly recommended.
