The cottage is one of the nicest properties you could wish for. The mum and son are so lovely and can't do enough to help. The breakfast and evening meals were outstanding and huge. We hired a bike and travelled around the outskirts of the safari area and saw plenty of elephants by the perimeter so no need to pay expensive prices for the actual safari. The elephant orphanage is in walking distance and was great to visit. You will not be disappointed staying here and it is so cheap too.

There was a fully equipped kitchen for us to cook, although our lovely host still brought us delicious food and breakfast anyway! The place is super cosy and comfortable , with a great outdoor space you can sit and watch the monkeys playing in the trees and hear the bell and chants from the nearby temple, it’s a very authentic experience. We came on moto and the location was perfect for exploring the local area with stunning waterfalls and valleys surrounding you. It is also a recommendable spot for remote workers, I was able to conduct hours worth of video calls using the Wi-Fi without problem, but also there was good mobile coverage for backup. Above all our wonderful host was so kind and helpful, thanks so much Mr Sarath.
