Situated within 100 metres of Hiriketiya Beach and 600 metres of Dickwella Beach, Serene Villa features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Hiriketiya. Very nice breakfast with nice fruit and good coffee. Excellent location between two great beaches. The Villa is nicer in real life than on the pirctures. Enjoyed yoga in the morning. You could even use their surf boards for free. Very nice staff that helped with arrranging trips and everything else. Would highly recommend to stay here. Pool is small but nice. Did not use it that much.

Bonus: great (uncrowded) wave directly out the front.

Loved my stay so much I want to come back :) the property is brand new, everything is designed to a high standard. Feels super homely and very peaceful with your own little garden. Pramith is very welcoming and great to deal with, making everything super easy. I actually extended my stay and can’t wait to come back :)

From the moment I arrived, it felt like I was stepping into a dream, thanks to the warmth and hospitality of Sam and Santa. They went above and beyond to make my stay memorable, offering tips for local attractions, and even checking in just enough to make sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling intrusive. The house itself is breathtaking – amenities were truly exceptional, with everything from a plunge pool to a fully-equipped kitchen that made me feel right at home. It was clear that Sam put a lot of love and attention into every detail. The vibe was so serene that I didn’t want to leave so I extended my stay here! Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for an unforgettable, luxury retreat with hosts who genuinely care about your experience. Offering a garden and garden view, Tinu Homestay is set in Mirissa, less than 1 km from Mirissa Beach and 1.8 km from Kamburugamuwa Beach. The rooms were very big and clean . The owner was very sweet and helpful. It's 500 mtr from mirissa beach. It's affordable and value for money . The place feels like your own home....we were very lucky to get places like this which have the feeling of home.....great stay..❤️❤️

Set in Deniyaya in the Matara District region, Rainforest Border Edge has a garden. What an absolutely amazing experience! The family hosts were the sweetest and most welcoming people – grandparents, parents, kids, everyone! They made us feel completely at home, preparing both dinner and breakfast with so much care and attention to detail. The location is just a stone’s throw from Sinharaja Rainforest, and the accommodation was thoughtfully arranged, with a stunning terrace view and the best Wi-Fi we’d had in Sri Lanka. The hot showers, which had been a rare find elsewhere, were an added bonus. One of the standout moments was when, at the last minute, my partner asked Amile for help with a birthday surprise. Her original plan had fallen through, so Amile went above and beyond to remedy that. Despite the pouring rain, he rode his scooter at 10pm to get a birthday cake and special candles, expecting nothing in return. To top it off, they even gave us an additional gift – such thoughtful hospitality! Amile also guided us on a short hike in the Sinharaja Forest, which was a fun, insightful experience that we thoroughly enjoyed. If not for our plans later, we would have happily stayed and explored even more. This place is a gem and really great value for money – highly recommended!
