A recently renovated apartment located in Nara, Nara Top Sights 5 to 20 Min Walk features a garden. The air-conditioned accommodation is 1.9 km from Nara Station. The best stay ever! A very lovely house, everything in the house is carefully designed, and all the things you need are available. There is a small garden, but unfortunately it is too hot ouside, otherwise it would be very pleasant to have a tea in the garden. The two double beds in the bedroom are spacious enough to accommodate four people, and the tatami room can also accommodate two more. Finally, I'd like to say sorry to the landlord. When I checked in, I had trouble because I mis-input the entery code, which caused the landlord to send someone over to assist.

The location was fine - about a 10-minute walk from the train station. The accommodation was spacious with new construction and a well equipped kitchen.

Everything was perfect! The only thing was that it was cool in the room in winter. We turned on the air conditioner to heat it up.

The accommodations were very nice, including a smoking area outside, a washer and dryer (including detailed instructions for English speakers), tourist guides for Nara and ther major cities, and a bin of phone chargers and extension cords. The beds were very comfy, the sofa was big and comfortable, and the TV was big and had a DVD player and a Super Famicom.

We have been visiting Japan for 3 weeks while staying at a wide variety of hotels, ryokan and airBnB, but this experience was by far the most amazing one. It is hard to describe the feeling of staying at this place filled with history, lost in the middle of the mountain. The owner was extra nice, she was the one to sit outside for 1 hour to boil the water of the bath for us to enjoy, and in the morning she offered us some very tasty juice ! Wandering in the school at night is an incredible experience, looking at the old photos of the children and the microscopes and the blackboards… The ping-pong table, huge manga library and barbecue will keep you up until late in the night ! So many things to do while enjoying the feeling of the place ! If you want to make a barbecue though, please make sure to bring you own firelighter or it might prove challenging ! The futon were confortable, and the kotetsu was so nice ! It's hard to encounter a location that have one so if you want the full Japanese experience go for it ! Cold drinks were available for a fee which was very pleasant. We honestly wish we could have stayed more, and if we go back to Japan, we definitely will go the extra mile to come back here ! Also, promise, no ghosts ! Just a black cat roaming around x) Thanks again to the owner for everything, I hope we can meet again :)

It is a house of history and filled with historical objects (and equipped with modern facilities for full convenience). The hosts are so kind to introduce the heritage as well as the history & traditions of the area, and help me to explore the area in a most enjoyable and convenient way. My trip was filled with sense of history, wonderful scenery & findings, and joyful learning, which couldn't be possible without staying in this accommodation and the hosts.

Located in Nara, 1.3 km from Nara Station and 18 km from Iwafune Shrine, Shikano Resort offers a garden and air conditioning. Self-catering, but limited cooking facilities. Nice to have Japanese and Western seating. Only 1 real bedroom. A verandah and the sitting room became the other bedrooms with Japanese foldaway floor sleeping. Reasonably close and flat walk to Nara JR.
