A very lovely house, everything in the house is carefully designed, and all the things you need are available. There is a small garden, but unfortunately it is too hot ouside, otherwise it would be very pleasant to have a tea in the garden. The two double beds in the bedroom are spacious enough to accommodate four people, and the tatami room can also accommodate two more. Finally, I'd like to say sorry to the landlord. When I checked in, I had trouble because I mis-input the entery code, which caused the landlord to send someone over to assist.

A recently renovated apartment set in Zengi, 奈良吉野の小学校跡地ゲストハウス-五右衛門風呂体験-漫画図書室-卓球台-一棟貸し-素泊まり-吉野山天川村観光-Small inn attached to a historic school building features a garden. We have been visiting Japan for 3 weeks while staying at a wide variety of hotels, ryokan and airBnB, but this experience was by far the most amazing one. It is hard to describe the feeling of staying at this place filled with history, lost in the middle of the mountain. The owner was extra nice, she was the one to sit outside for 1 hour to boil the water of the bath for us to enjoy, and in the morning she offered us some very tasty juice ! Wandering in the school at night is an incredible experience, looking at the old photos of the children and the microscopes and the blackboards… The ping-pong table, huge manga library and barbecue will keep you up until late in the night ! So many things to do while enjoying the feeling of the place ! If you want to make a barbecue though, please make sure to bring you own firelighter or it might prove challenging ! The futon were confortable, and the kotetsu was so nice ! It's hard to encounter a location that have one so if you want the full Japanese experience go for it ! Cold drinks were available for a fee which was very pleasant. We honestly wish we could have stayed more, and if we go back to Japan, we definitely will go the extra mile to come back here ! Also, promise, no ghosts ! Just a black cat roaming around x) Thanks again to the owner for everything, I hope we can meet again :)

Located in Kashihara, 20 km from Nara Station and 28 km from Subaru Hall, 古民家民泊かえるて offers a garden and air conditioning. Best place ever and perfect hosts. Easy going, fast communication and great local knowledge. They facilitated the pick up from train station and also made a tour to the major historical sites around the area. On a renovated traditional Japanese house, the room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. I will come back to this house 100% next time and absolutely a great recommendation to everyone.
